Here's a video of Tirso Cruz III singing his own composition 'Awit ni Daboy' (Rudy's Theme) on GMA-7's SIS : Tribute to Rudy Fernandez episode June 11, 2008. This is the first time I saw Tirso Cruz III singing again since his matinee idol days in the early 1970s. Listen to the song and you will find some indications of some 1970s style of tunes, that's something really nostalgic (at least for me) growing up in the early 1970s and gotten used to hearing songs sang by Ms. Nora Aunor and Tirso Cruz III (Guy & Pip) in those days.
